GDS: Sabre Interface

Sabre 360 is compatible with BookingBuilder. 

Availability and Suppliers

In order to allow BookingBuilder to assist with a booking, Sabre 360 requires that the availability request begin in Sabre.  Users who normally go directly to a supplier site and search will find that BookingBuilder doesn't react as expected.  

Additionally, there are certain suppliers approved for use with Sabre 360- if you have enabled a supplier on BookingBuilder's administration site and it still doesn't show up on availability requests, that is likely why.  You can confirm by checking if the supplier is available for booking directly in Sabre.  If there is one that is not on our list of Sabre-enabled suppliers that you would like to have added, contact your Sabre account representative to make the request.  

If BookingBuilder won't connect and has a yellow icon near the clock, or will connect but won't communicate, it usually means the Connector is missing.

1. In Sabre 360, click on Contact Us, then Application Vendor Support.

2. You should see a BookingBuilder Connector listed.

3. If you don't see that, the Sabre administrator will need to authorize your account/PCC for the Connector, which can then be downloaded by checking Sabre for updates. That will be whoever would give a new agent a Sabre login.  The steps for that are below in case they prove helpful.
   
   It can take several hours after the order is complete for Sabre to download the update.  Once you do see the BookingBuilder Connector app, restart Sabre and BookingBuilder and you should be ready to go.

These are the steps to add the BookingBuilder Connector: 

1. Go to https://central.sabre.com/marketplace/
    
2. Log in (on the upper right)
    
3. Search for bookingbuilder connector
   
   
    
4. Click the BookingBuilder Connector in the search results.
   
   
    
5. Click on the terms and conditions, and fill in the checkbox.
    
6. Click Order Now.
   
   
    
7. Scroll down to select your PCCs by filling in the checkbox.
    
8. Choose Automatic for the activation option.
    
9. Click Submit Order
