No Confirmation Popup

Note: the screens you see in this article might not match your BookingBuilder exactly, but don't worry about that- the differences are just cosmetic and the directions will still work.

If a confirmation page fails to get BookingBuilder to pop up and offer to enter the information into the GDS, these steps can help.

Recheck Open Web Browsers

The way it normally works, once your browser has finished loading a web page, it sends a message out to the rest of the system to that effect- which BookingBuilder uses to kick off the process of reading the page and doing whatever it is supposed to after that. If the page doesn't technically complete getting loaded, you can usually still click around in it and use it, but the message might not come out.

1. Find the BB icon near your computer's clock- you might have to click the little up arrow to the left to show your hidden icons. It will be a dot with BB in it, which might be green, yellow, or red. 
   
   
   
   
2. Right click on the BB icon and choose Recheck Open Web Browsers from the menu.
   
   
   
   
3. If that doesn't work, it might be that BookingBuilder can't see the page at all. You can check by trying to open the same site using BookingBuilder- if it opens the skip this step. Otherwise, check out the Blank Web Pages article. 
   
   
4. It could be that your BookingBuilder has out of date directions for reading the page too. 
   
   
   1. Right click the BB icon down by your clock and choose Configuration. If you don't see the icon, click the up arrow to the left of the icons (it might be hiding up there).
      
      
      
      
   2. You should be on the Diagnostics tab. Click the Erase Databases and Update Settings button, then click Yes on the 'are you sure' popup.

   3. You will be able to see the progress. Once it is complete, right click the BB icon and choose Restart this Application.
      
      
      
      
   4. To test, open the confirmation page again, or try the Recheck Open Web Browsers if you still have it open. Don't use BB's Open Saved Confirmation option for this.
