We will need to get some information that isn't included in BookingBuilder's logs, called a dump file. They have to be created while the problem is happening, and these directions will show you how:
- Open Task Manager by right clicking the Task Bar and choosing Task Manager or press the CTRL, ALT, and Delete keys at the same time, and pick it out from there.
- You might have to click More Details.
- Find BookingBuilder- it might be a green, yellow, or red BB depending on what is going on at the time. If you see that, go to step 4. If instead you see a blue and white BB, see below.
It will look like this- click the arrow on the left to expand it:
It will have a sub-item for each of the things BB is running. The one we are looking for might be named BookingBuilder Fare Search, or BookingBuilder Configuration- if it starts with BookingBuilder it is the one we're looking for.
- Right click on the BB process and choose Create Dump File.
- Dump files are generally too big to send in the usual way, so let us know when it has been created and we will arrange to collect it.
