Turn On Logging
- Find the BB icon near your computer's clock- you might have to click the little up arrow to the left to show your hidden icons. It will be a dot with BB in it, which might be green, yellow, or red.
- Right click on the BB icon and choose Configuration from the menu.
- In the Logging section near the top, you can use the drop down menus to set the level of logging detail. Picking something from the menu starts that logging right away, but it won't stay turned on after a restart, unless you click the Set as Default button.
In the BookingBuilder Desktop section
- Select Verbose
- Click Set as Default
- Fill in the GDS Transaction checkbox
Send the Logs
The next time you see the problem:
- You can open the Configuration screen and click the View/Send Logs to Support button, or
- Right click the BB icon and choose View/Send Log Files
- In either case, on the next screen, leave Show Most Recent Only checked.
- Fill in the Select check box on the upper left- this will fill in all the other check boxes.
- Click the Send button.
- Fill in your contact information in the top section if it isn't already there.
- In the Description box, please enter a brief summary of the issue, as well as putting it attention to the name of the BookingBuilder staffer you want it to go to (if anyone), like 'Attn {{ticket.assignee.first_name}}', as well as your case number {{ticket.id}}.
- Click Send.
